Yeah I can see the obvious duplication of buildings getting boring to look at. I can fix that. Usually the first few versions of my maps are in a draft one sort of phase in terms of detail variety and functional environment elements. After a while new parts of the environment will show up just a bit more polished as I update it.
I totally see the map being too big in terms of scan spawns being hard find. I've increased spawns before, but it stepped into lag territory. It's fun to make these large maps but it's better for performance and load times not to go too crazy. Sometimes I do though.
The materials are quite random and visually each building is definitely noisy. If you come around next time I update it, the city should be much more interesting and less chaotic visually and functionally.
Thanks for the useful notes, I appreciate it!
There are several thight alleys that force you to make sharp turns with your hoverboard, and are generally a chore to navigate. Enemies have to be searched for because there is little line-of-sight. So your driving randomly, getting lost, and somtimes stumbling upon an enemy or two. - And the buildings your constantly looking at, get boring really really fast, but are to busy-looking to just ignore. - The city in general feels kinda empty. To big for its own good.
