oh wait could i have just thrown the cube into the deadly goo? i didn't even notice there was goo until i looked back at the thumbnail just now

Nice little mechanism at the end! I hope I did the right strategy to set it up while getting to the other side - I funneled myself over to the platforms as the regular cube was moving along in the funnel source, then quickly switched my portal back to the surface opposite the companion cube button. It felt a tiny bit tight so I'm just checking.
