It probably has something to do with your modlist, because I used that mod last week and managed to work it alongside that 'buggy' Adjustable Army Sizes mod.

When in doubt, verify files and start up the game with only the Lord-Hero Swap mod. Try not to convert the main legendary lord to a hero, because that may result in issues, among others.
