JointCom Armoury - Mk153
The Mk153 Rocket Launcher


DESCRIPTION:
The Mk153, Old but reliable this launcher is primarily used by JointCom in urban environments due to its ability to mount close range optics. With the development of modern range finding equipment the Mk153's ranging rifle has been made obsolete and removed.

Ah, thanks to your hint, I figured out the answer.

Checking the submunitionAmmo entry in the
debug CfgAmmo section was the solution.

@Dale hi Dale, we did make it, it was on the weapon. We worked on implimeniting it and were even making animations for it, however the model did not have the resources required to properly implimentation it so we removed the ranging rifle in favor or the range finder. JCA weapons are made first and foremost for jointcom unit and their specifications, in this instance it was more viable to just remove it for a lighter weight weapon since it saved us development time. We could have elsewhere.

Your general tone tells me you just don't like the mod, so I would recommend you use the rhs one if you are not already, as most jca mods are not 1-1 with real life.

Yeah definitely because when they developed the first rangefinder in WWII it really made the 1984 SMAW spotting rifle obsolete. Technology has really come so far in showing you a number in a scope instead of in a pair of binoculars /s. Smells lazy and licensed to the point that we cant make it ourselves. XM157 Ace framework would have been a jusitification but it sounds like you just didnt want to make it.

I just notice. Mk153 round in this mod is faster (350m/s) than CUP and RHS counterpart (220m/s).
