描述

Due to the increase in international business, DB Cargo required a dual-system-capable electric freight locomotive. Bombardier then developed the TRAXX 1 family, a further development of the BR 145. The TRAXX 1 family consists of the BR 185.0 and the BR 146.1. The BR 185.0 is multi-system-capable and can be equipped with additional Swiss pantographs. The BR 146.1 is not multi-system capable, but has been equipped with train destination displays for passenger traffic. The BR 185.0 is basically available in two variants, one with only the German pantographs and one with additional Swiss pantographs.
