I was wondering if you might consider adding a feature (or maybe a separate version) that allows converting ammunition into firearms.
I think it could work really well alongside Nepenthe’s Infinite Ammo mod, and it might open up some fun new gameplay possibilities.
Just a thought for the future — no pressure at all!
I'm sure the conversion list would get rough, so I would recommend a recipe to turn all ammo into something (your choice), then a recipe to turn that something into ammo
that way add-on mods for modded ammo only have to turn the "something" into its ammo and it's ammo into "something"
Or, to make it more complex, all ammo into
casing, 1-4? gunpowder (depending on caliber), bullet tip
