描述
This mod lowers the crowbar swing speed and removes the camera shake from every swing, making it much more similar to the Half-Life 2 version of the weapon. The exact swing speed is once every 0.4 seconds, which is identical to HL2.

This is essentially a combination of HL2 Crowbar Speed by barrel236 and No Crowbar Recoil/Jerking by gru, compressed into one mod because the two originals are incompatible with each other.

This mod only contains scripts -- no models, textures or sounds. It should be compatible with crowbar mods that leave the weapon script unchanged.

Correct, but Black Mesa does not allow you to replicate the exact camera behavior of the Half-Life 2 crowbar. I decided no camera shake at all was the best compromise.

I actually tried that at first but I could never find camera shake settings I was personally happy with, sorry.

Do you think you could make a mod where the camera shake isn't as harsh as vanilla? Like just make it subtle

Ah, I didn't realize! I always felt like the Hl2 one was more powerful, maybe just because it swung slower lol

I strongly considered a damage buff, actually! However, Black Mesa's default crowbar damage is 10, which is the same as Half-Life 2 and twice as much as Half-Life 1. Since you can kill a zombie in 5 hits or a headcrab in 1 hit in both BMS and HL2, I decided it was fine as is.
