Halo CE - Skedar v2 (Perfect Dark)

A small, indoors assymetric map from Perfect Dark (2000) brought to Halo. All gametypes supported.

I've been holding the release of this for a while now, hoping to do it when they day came where we could have mods in the CGB, but since it looks like it's not happening anytime soon... Here it goes!

Some might know about the H3 version I did some time ago, but actually, the very first version of this map was in Halo 1 (or specifically Custom Edition) back in 2019-2020. Not too long ago I decided to revisit the CE version and make some upgrades to it. The map now uses slightly modified original textures from the HD remaster of Perfect Dark (XBLA, 2010).

The CE version of Skedar is now the best! H3 version has been updated to keep it playable but it will still use the old set of textures.

Additions:

-original skybox for the map (it was using the one from The Maw before), to better represent the Skedar homeworld
-new textures and new geometry + higher map ceiling, allowing for potential epic grenade throws across rooms
-three new sentinel guns (game will choose randomly between them on their respawn timer)
>sentinel beam: needs no explanation
>eliminator beam: the golden variant. A more powerful beam with less generous aim assist.
>sentinel needler: Inspired in Halo 2 Uncut. Fires red needles with agressive tracking and ROF. Does not
supercombine.
-a very special easter egg weapon located in the secret room. Good luck :)
