Description
Alai is a consciousness lurking in the souls of Her human hosts, subtly mutating and whispering to them to help Her grow and evolve until Her presence overtakes the entire world.

Manipulate Your Puppets
Defeat heroes and acolytes in combat to add them to the Devoured, opening them up to your influence. Have them sow chaos as your agents, then turn them back into heroes to burn off their menace and do it again later. Slip them into ruler slots to control or destabilize their socieites, and bend their lands to your will more aggressively as you awaken.

A God For Every World
Choose from a huge variety of new powers and curses to tailor the Devoured to your unique playstyle, or let it inspire you to whole new playstyles.

The Plot Thickens
Discover an alternate route culminating in a secret ending, a hint for which is buried somewhere in this mod page. Or don't! Alai is mostly designed for normal play.

Cody I got the same error with Alai, and hadn't read foodies comment, and thought it was this mod, but then I booted up Kishi and had the same issue like 10 turns in.

@codyskater31 Unfortunately, it is an anomaly somewhere deep in the base game's own logic. It appears intermittently, with rates varying a lot by user, and is not mod dependent,
Despite many attempts to track it down, we, the modding community, have had no success in locating or fixing the issue.

I was joking too, the "big old mass of hands" thing is very Slay the Princessy and it was in fact an inspiration

It is a joke referring to the game "slay the princess" which is an unorthodox romance(?) game between eldrich gods. the fact that you probably have to do the romance route by defeating the CO reminded me of the slay part
the lay part is a community meme becuase you can romance the princess that is going to destroy the entire world, so people just take away the S from slay

I have no idea what you're talking about, the alt route isn't derivative at all and the "amorphous mass of hands" aesthetic doesn't remind me of anything
