Classically Beautiful Eltharion Reskin (Three Variants)

描述
A detailed reskin mod for the Eltharion the Grim. Changes his armour to silver and gems to yellow to create a more "misty" theme, and better match Yvresse's heraldry. Upscales and repaints much of his texture to improve detail, while retaining his excellent basic design.
Also includes two bonus, alternate skins: one that retains the red gems, and a remaster of Eltharion's original skin.

The name of my "Classically Beautiful" series is intended as wordplay; these reskins are classical in the sense that they are similar to the original.

Eltharion has an excellent vanilla model, but it's always bugged me how prominently it uses all three primary colors. If there is an elf who could pull that off, it certainly isn't Eltharion, right? He's the ultra-serious Warden of Yvresse, a kingdom with muted blue/white/yellow heraldry and a nearly obsessive devotion to the Goddess of Mist.




  • Bright golden metal becomes an appropriately grim silver metal instead

  • Improved, sterner facial features

  • Yvressian color scheme

  • Heart-shaped helmet gem replaced with a simpler round gem (I have nothing against the heart design, but it is the symbol of Isha, not Eltharion's beloved goddess Ladrielle. Besides, pre-Total War Eltharion art all seems to have the round gem)

  • Ornate metal engraving and highlighted patterns

  • New faction select icon

  • (With Variant Selector) Three selectable color variants with their own unit cards


  • Upscaled, high-definition textures

  • Hand-repainted messy textures


This mod is simple, lightweight, and compatible with anything except other Eltharion reskins. It will rarely need updating.

@Erwonathan - I won't be able to fulfill this request between other projects I am working on, but I hope someone comes to Karl's aid one day for you.

@RatboyW - Sorry, missed you when I was replying earlier. I actually had included such a file for people to use, but when I accidentally overwrote it without a backup, I surrendered and shipped the mod without it. If I have time I'll make another and comment here when I do so.

I hope it's not too much to ask, but the fact that this uses Variant Selector to allow multiple versions makes me ask: could we get something similar for Karl Franz, but where it would allow him to visually wield the Runefang as one variant, and Ghal Maraz as another variant? It's always annoyed me that he has a hammer no matter what. At least with variants I could manually switch between the two as needed.

@Kriega1 - I don't really like End Times much, or what it did with the elves. :sweat: I grant, of course, that in Total War, Malekith can become Phoenix King in a way that respects the lore better.
