LIM LF-17X Night Wyvern | Stealth Fighter

The LF-17X was an experimental multirole space superiority fighter made to field test certain technologies that would go on to be used in the LF-18CS and the LF-20. Built off of the LF-17D Super Wyvern, the chassis is robust and agile while replacing the wingtip turrets with missile rails and implementing weapon bays in the wings that deploy downwards.

Used in the field for surprise attacks at the beginning of a fight, this versatile platform comes packing for the long haul with various tools on its belt for dealing with any manner of opponent. Though the gatling guns and rockets are not reloadable off of the flight deck, the internal cannons are wired into the cargo network - allowing for excess ammo storage within the ship itself. It should also be noted that deployment of the rockets should be done sparingly due to the limited ammunition and tendency of the bay to jam. To clear the jam, simply redeploy the launchers.
