INFECTION

The addon adds visual effects (can be disabled; effects shown in video) and coughing sounds that reflect the progression of the infection.

There are a total of 4 stages of infection, each characterized by different coughing frequency:
1st stage: The interval between coughs is 300 seconds (light effects).1-25%
2nd stage: The interval between coughs is 150 seconds (moderate effects).26-50%
3rd stage: The interval between coughs is 60 seconds (strong effects).51-75%
4th stage: The interval between coughs is 30 seconds (very strong effects).76-100%

Coughing can be heard by all players within hearing range near the infected person. This adds to the atmosphere, as other players can identify infected individuals by sound.
In addition to coughing sounds, the addon also includes cosmetic sounds when equipping and removing gas masks.

Configure which NPCs infect through hits, which infect through the air, and what entities players transform into after dying from infection.

Adjust infection parameters: the amount of infection from hits, the radius of airborne infection, the infection accumulation rate, and more.

The gas mask itself does not protect against infection. It requires filters to work. You can equip a gas mask using the command "wear_gasmask" and remove it with "remove_gasmask."

A gas mask with a filter protects against airborne infection but not from physical attacks. If a player is wearing a gas mask, an icon of the gas mask appears to the right of the infection indicator, with the remaining filter time displayed below it.
They also drop from players after death if they had them.
Antidote — fully cures infection.
Poor quality antidote — reduces infection level to 1%.
Immunity — protects against infection for 10 minutes.

Small gas cloud — size of 500 hammer units and infects at 2 units per second.
Large gas cloud — size of 5000 hammer units and infects at 1 unit per second.

drop_gasmask — Throw the gas mask in front of you.
unfilter — Remove and throw away the filters in front of you.
wear_gasmask — Put on a gas mask.
remove_gasmask — Remove the gas mask.
