HU MAV 426 Desiro

The MÁV 426 series (until 2015 6342) are commuter multiple units from the Desiro Classic vehicle concept developed by Siemens Transportation Systems with diesel-mechanical drive. The operator is the Hungarian state railway Magyar Államvasutak (MÁV). Technically, the vehicles are almost identical to the Deutsche Bahn 642 series railcars. Only the vehicle equipment of the Hungarian train control system, Hungarian train radio and extendable steps have been added.
The units are used especially on branch lines and lines into Budapest-Deli.

Note: This vehicle was deliberately implemented on a larger scale for the sides (e.g. 14px) – for those who like more detail and realism. I like to mod against the trend, because diversity is just as important to NIMBY as route planning 🙂.
