Renfe Serie 104

Renfe's 104 series is an EMU initially acquired to offer Renfe's Avant service (high-speed medium-distance or regional services, previously called AVE shuttles). As it is a train designed to offer services of less than 1h30 of travel, there is no club class and the number of preferential class seats was very low, 31 seats compared to 205 in tourist class; only on the first car, where the cafeteria is. Currently, all seats are marketed as tourist class, even though the first car has a preferential configuration. They belong to the Pendolino family of trains developed by the Italian Fiat Ferroviaria and are related to the ETR 460 and ETR 480.
