I aim to recreate the vibe of the first two Halo games (Halo CE, Halo 2). Items will be added if they fit the general aesthetic but content from Halo 4 and onwards will NOT be added.

The mod adds several dozen new weapons, ammo and apparel from the Halo universe. All items have been heavily tested and vetted to function correctly.

New Weapons:
-M247H Heavy Machine Gun (7.62x51)
-Spartan Laser W/AV M6 G/GNR
-Sniper 99C-S2 (14.5x11)
-Rocket Launcher M41-SPNKr (102mm)
-Grenade Launcher M319 (Timed 40mm)
-Flame Thrower M7057
-Assault Rifle MA3 (7.62x51)
-Assault Rifle MA37 (7.62x51)
-Assault Rifle MA5B (7.62x51)
-Battle Rifle BR55 (9.5x40)
-SMG M7 (5x23)
-Magnum M6D (.500s&w)
-Magnum M6C (.45ACP)
-Shotgun M90 (8g)

New Apparel:
-Spartan Armor Mk.V
-Functional energy shields!

-Light Marine Armor
-Heavy Marine Armor
-Many variations of Marine Trooper Helmets
-ODST Armor
-ODST Heavy Armor
-Many variations of job clothing.

There are alternate ammo types for appropriate guns.


New features are planned and/or in the works. Including but not limited to:
-ODST drop pods.
-UNSC turrets.
-Insurrectionist gear and overhaul for the separatist faction.
-More ammo types for guns.


This mod is a continuation of the origonal New Harvest mod by Elliot. Most sprites and sounds are credited to him.
Weapon fabricator and ammo fabricator sprites come from Enhanced Armaments, credit to SCP-966-1

Q&A:

-Q: "How do i paint the spartan armor?"
A: Drag and drop a paint can onto the armor while wearing it, additionally copper is for brown and fiber plant is for purple.

-Q: "Are the Covenant/Flood going to be added?"
A: Yes i am working on both of those but as separate mods. I don't release anything till it is 100% ready though.

-Q: "Can i suggest a feature?"
A: Yes! Just comment below or @ me on the official Baro discord and we can discuss the feasibility of any ideas.

-Q: "Will there be insurrectionist/rebel items and spartans?"
A: I do plan on adding those but i'm very slow at making sprites so it will take time. I would also like to make events for them like station raids in campaign but that's farther off.

Issue is i dont know how Neurotauma would react to energy shields and if they would still protect you fully or not.

Not sure what you mean by polarized in the context of Barotrauma? Like all black? Changes color/opacity?

Just a small detail but could you make the odst visor polarized like in the games or maybe its own red visor for insurrection dudes

Please add me anytime I'm down to play! No one wants to try the modpack with me I don't know why I've showed everything I find so cool I've tried to reverse engineer your code but I'm new to xml and coding language haha so far I kinda copy and pasted and was able to make it more pressure resistant but I broke the code somehow and now it won't load anymore

I think combat diving suit is the right amount of pressure. If you are at the endgame of barotruma (like the actual endgame) you are probably going to be making spartan armors

At the moment they just have the resistance of a combat diving suit. I was trying to make them balanced. I wish i had more opportunities to experiment with the mod in multiplayer but i can never find enough people to do a session with.
