Thats some good feedback, unfortunately i'm not knowledgeable enough in TPF2 modding to be able to do that yet. 😅
Potentially you could try using the cargo overlay while placing stations, that way buildings not in the catchment area will appear green, blue or yellow. It's not a fix but i hope it helps for now :)
Literally just enable it for a map when loading it and it works!
The only tweak I might suggest is a way to better see the Catchment Area for something, the fact snow is white and the Catchment Area is white just makes judging that difficult. That said I have no idea how you'd improve on that, maybe if the snow texture was more varied in response to lighting? Don't know.
Apologies for not responding yesterday. As Friendly Snake said, you need only add the mod to a save for it to function, it's strange that this isn't working for you 🤔
Once you add the mod to your save, a number will appear next to it to the right of the list, this number tells the game which order it should load the mods. if two mods perform the same action, such as replace the textures, the mod with the highest number will be the one to appears in game. I suggest checking this number, and ensuring it is the largest number in the list.
Should this not correct the error, i suggest unsubscribing from my mod, waiting a minute or two, then resubscribing. This will re-download the mod, I suggest this as it's possible some files may have not been downloaded correctly, and as such are missing.
If the issue still occurs after all of this, send me a friend request on steam so i may more closely help with diagnosing the issue as something else may have gone wrong.
