In the chapter anticitizen one some corpses have missing textures but it did not realy bother me that much

This is something that Forlorn ran into with their Winter Citizens mod and there's no real way to fix it unless you either A: switch games to EP1 or EP2 before closing your game or B: you do this that Forlorn leaves on their mods "IMPORTANT FIND - I am happy to announce that, at least according to my initial testing, if you have my PRL Menu Backgrounds Mod installed locally (meaning a .vpk file placed in hl2/custom folder) the "bad reference count" error is avoided! Which makes sense, since that mod basically prevents the background maps from loading altogether."

So for everyone that's mentioning missing textures, the bug that's causing it is deeply routed into the background maps and how they load up default assets before mods are loaded.
"!!Annoying Bug!! - For some reason (at least on my pc) the male_01 corpse at the beginning of map d1_canals_12, d2_coast_04 has missing textures, and spams the console with "bad reference count when being bound" error. After many attempts, I see no permanent fix to that, besides typing the command " ent_create npc_citizen model models/humans/group01/male_01.mdl ". For some reason spawning the citizen that way fixes the issue. What's even stranger, is that it seems to have a connection to what menu map background was loaded (seems like only the plaza and streetwar background maps are causing this)."
