描述
This addon is a model replacement for the tool gun, which restores its old Garry's mod 10/11/12 viewmodel position and animations as well as having support for c_hands. Also brought back the snappy firing animation which in my opinion makes the tool gun a lot more satisfying to use. Shouldn't have any issues but feel free to tell me if you come across one.

Supports simple retextures but not model replacements.

So the differences are...
WIth Mod you can see the firing recoil along with a fixed position.
WIthout mod the tool gun fires statically and looks off if you keep pressing the trigger...

Nice mod! However.. one small issue.

i really like how this version looks, i think the positioning looks nice and i like the more exaggerated recoil :3
i just wish the cylinder spun when shooting :(

We should note, there is another mod which ports over the rest of the original HL2 viewmodels with c_model support, so weapons such as the Revolver have their old positioning, alongside the one-handed Pulse-Rifle.

We've been aware of this for a long time. It was mainly just waiting for someone to properly convert hands over to the c_model system (alongside having the proper animation order for servers! One did originally port this but had that in the wrong order, which caused it to get removed.)
