The main character, an ambassador from Myrtana, sets off on a diplomatic mission to a neighboring country. However, his ship wrecks due to an orc attack. He washes ashore with nothing but his city clothes and a ring. Despite this setback, he is determined to complete the diplomatic mission entrusted to him.
