Baiting the Giants

The capitalist commanders believe they’ve outsmarted us, setting their cunning trap in the GIUK Gap. But they underestimate our strategic foresight. Our plan is already in motion.

We’ve dispatched four Udaloy-class destroyers as the vanguard, escorting a decoy convoy of four decommissioned cargo ships. These vessels, retrofitted into remotely controlled sea drones, mimic a formidable task force on enemy radar—a calculated illusion designed to draw their attention. The capitalists will think a massive breakthrough force is pushing into the North Atlantic.

Meanwhile, our submarines have slipped into position, lying in wait to turn their trap into our ambush.

Your mission is critical:
Primary: Sink the two Iowa-class battleships. These titanic relics still pose a dire threat and must be neutralized swiftly.
Secondary: Eliminate their missile cruisers. Without them, the enemy’s coordinated defense will crumble.

Your mission is considered sucessful if:
1. Achieve the primary objective and ensure at least half of your warships survive.
2. Or, achieve both objectives to strike a decisive blow.

Once the enemy opens fire, withdraw the baiting task force. Their purpose is to lure the enemy, not to engage directly. Be aware: enemy bombers may sortie from Reykjavik. Maintain a tight formation, stay vigilant, and steer clear of their AGM-84 Harpoon missile range.

This operation requires cunning, precision, and unyielding discipline. Turn their arrogance against them, Commander. Show the capitalists the cost of underestimating us.
