Red Storm Rising: Convoy Escort Mission 01

Operation REFORGER has begun. You are the Commanding officer of the TF AD 59.2 consisting of the Knox class frigate USS Pharris and the Kidd class destroyer USS Chandler preforming Convoy Escort duty through the North Atlantic on the way to Le Harve, France. This is the first convoy since the operation began late last week. The Commodore has segmented your convoy into three serials, all consisting of six merchants and an escort force selected to give Air defense and ASW capability. You are in the Northern most serial of the convoy. Tensions are high and WWIII could begin at any moment. Several REDFLT Submarines have been reported via the GIUK sensor barrier to be in the North Atlantic at this time. Await further orders regarding ROE and only fire in self-defense once fired upon until hostilities have been declared as having started. Civilian Airliners are still operating in the area, but all shipping has been routed elsewhere and no NATO Submarines are reported in the Convoy shipping lanes. At least 3 of your merchant vessels must reach the designated area for the mission to be deemed successful. Good Luck.
