Young at Heart Trait

Trait that was requested for my Children's Books mod, I felt it would be bloat added to it so it's here as a stand alone mod. This trait has virtually no effect when on children since being both young and young at heart kind of go hand in hand, once they hit 13 it'll have more of an effect.


Pawn Type Key:
Baby - Has Play need
Child - Has Learning need
Teen - Doesn't have learning or play needs, under 18
Adult- Doesn't have learning or play needs, 18+


Most of these features can be adjusted or disabled in settings.

Teens and adults with trait will have a mood depending on the number of babies and children in the colony (-10 at 0 to +15 at 10+) (Heavily inspired by Crazy Cat Lady)

Teens and adults with trait will have +10 opinion towards children and other teens and adults with trait

Children will have +10 opinion towards teens and adults with trait

Teens without trait will have -10 opinion towards teens and adults with trait as they are "not a kid"

Teens and adults with trait will give additional play and learning rates when playing or learning with children and babies

If Children's Books is installed, Teens and adults with trait can read children's books without getting bored
