With the decision to upgrade the ESDF ground forces arsenal due to the arrival of the factorum with a new series of vehicles based on a newer IFV chassis the ESDF high command and materials administration decided a new and more modern EWAC variant was needed and as such the new Ranger EWAC array was designed and mounted on the Model-B chassis, this new EWAC array is capable of sending out a signal to nearby SAM launchers or other similar launcher/signal arrays once an enemy aircraft is detected within its detection range.
