Operation Archipelgo Wall

Following the massive collapse of the Eastern Bloc, the Soviet Union narrowly avoided its own dissolution. In the wake of a military coup that ousted Mikhail Gorbachev, the Soviets launched aggressive actions to reclaim influence over their former Warsaw Pact allies. To secure dominance in the Baltic region, the Soviet Union issued an ultimatum to Sweden, demanding the handover of the strategic island of Gotland as a base of operations against Poland.\n\nThe Carlsson cabinet firmly rejected the ultimatum. In response, the Soviet Union prepared an invasion, mobilizing two naval fleets to seize Gotland by force. NOTE Swedish assets are not in the game so am foced to use vessels that are similar in apperance or operational use.
