Partner Sunny

This mod adds a new late-game partner accessible after completing Eugene's quest and the intermission. Online players must all be using the mod in order to matchmake.

In the current release, fusion is not possible and partner dialog only exists for common recurring events, such as camping or encountering bosses. Don't expect a partner quest or any custom main story quest dialog yet. (Missing partner dialog will be skipped in unsupported cutscenes.)

Melee Attack +20
Melee Defense +15
Ranged Defense +5
Speed -20

Signature species: Mascotoy (tape not included)
Provide one yourself for the signature species bonus.

Uses custom player outfit sprites handmade by Brad, as official battle sprites did not exist at the time this mod was created.

Please follow these steps to safely remove custom partner mods and avoid script errors in save files.

• First make sure the mod Sunny isn't holding the tape of a monster you want to keep. Then switch to a vanilla partner and save again.
  
• Subscribe to Mod Utils (at least temporarily) to fix a script error with the save party loader when an unlocked partner is missing.
  
• Unsubscribe from Partner Sunny.
  
• Load your save file. Save immediately. You may now unsubscribe from Mod Utils.

Alternatively, if you're comfortable with the Debug Console[wiki.cassettebeasts.com] you can simply use the following command instead of installing Mod Utils:
