描述
Alternate history scenario diverging on October 14th 1973. Loosely based on this video by "Not a Pound for Air to Ground":
How The US Navy Could Have Intervened In The Yom Kippur War; And How They'd Have Tackled The Soviets


Sinai Peninsula, October 1973. IDF close to collapse in the Sinai peninsula, US carrier groups ordered to intervene. 10 mission campaign covering the strike and resulting escalation while avoiding nuclear war.


10 missions, one for each day of the month of October:
  • 14th: CV airstrike to pre-empt egyptian offensive preparations.
  • 15th: Enforce the no-fly zone over egypt. Attempt not to hit any soviet bystanders, optional.
  • 16th: Protect a humanitarian convoy out of the port of Haifa.
  • 17th: Disengage and escape our soviet pursuers and give us room to manoeuver.
  • 18th: Deny a soviet reinforcement landing attempt at port Said. By force.
  • 19th: Soviets are angry, survive the attack and evade their SAGs.
  • 20th: Ambush and destroy a fast soviet SAG.
  • 21st: Find and identify the remaining priority soviet threats.
  • 22nd: Decisive precision strike on the soviet SAGs.
  • 23rd: Avoid Soviet SAGs to wait out the political de-escalation.

As of version 0.5.3 scenario triggers are broken, and scenarios cannot be played correctly. The story seems to be very interesting and im looking forword to playing it once its fixed. Dear author, please update your workshop item.

Missions are very laggy, wouldn't recommend even if you're using Geforce NOW.

That's by far my favorite Not A Pound video! I can't count how many times I've replayed it. First mission was awesome, felt just like the scenario I picture whenever I watch the video. Having someone bring this scenario to life is like a dream. Keep up the great work!!
