Half-Life 21st Century Edition Sourcemod

Enabling this in HL2 will do absolutely nothing due to how I packed the mod, and either way, would not work with HL2 not knowing how a fair bit of the scripts work within it. Once I've found a chunk of changes that DO work with base HL2, they will be included in here instead of having to subscribe to the separate mods in the collection.



I had to change where the download was because I did this at 1 in the morning and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up where the download was supposed to go, it will be back shortly, don't worry!
After downloading from the Moddb page, extract the "Half-Life 21st Century Edition" folder to your sourcemod directory, if you need help to understand how to download the sourcemod, watch this video to get a better understanding.
Use SOURCE SDK 2013 and ensure it is on the UPCOMING beta branch - otherwise your game is gonna crash.

I am currently doing my best to port the sourcemod itself over to work with just subscribing to the workshop, but luck isnt on my side atm, it uses a lot of custom scripts that HL2 can't read, so I will do my best with what I can, so give me time, wasn't expecting HL2 to get workshop lmfao.

I am also uploading bits from the mod to the workshop that are confirmed to fully work in base HL2.

This was supposed to be a mod developed by NvC_DmN_CH ("NvC") with help from other people, but over time, he got burned out from making this mod and progress on the mod came to a slow halt. Instead of letting it go to waste, I've gone out of my way to upload a bunch of content to the workshop and the main sourcemod to Moddb for people to freely download and enjoy, with a mix of finalized map, and beta mapping I still had saved back when it was still being worked on to give a complete experience of HL21st Century Edition.


I am releasing this to the public because there is no progress being made on it. I've decided to do this just to let the community enjoy the hard work NVC, Korespond, me, the whole HL21ST dev team, and everyone else have put into this.


You can use all the content however you want*, but be sure to credit the 'HL21ST Dev Team' (and include a link to this workshop upload wherever possible) as well as the original authors of the content (if you can find them).

*But please don't just rummage through the mod and reupload everything, I am working hard to get assets from the mod uploaded to the workshop for everyone to enjoy, and it is taking me a while to do so, and eventually this addon will include everything from the mod that is confirmed to work, so people have a choice between everything at once, or cherry pick stuff from the official collection.

*And don't just don't sell it for gain/profit, and respect the copyrights (otherwise you might get into a lotta trouble lmao).



Hopefully everyone will enjoy this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that hasn't seen the light of day till now, unfortunately it may never get newer updates and is most likely a buggy ass mess to play, but hopefully it will be an enjoyable one.

After a few years, hopefully it was worth the wait.
