描述

Trek to Borealis was originally made, as a short Half-life 2 ep2 map created for a competition, done in under 50 Hours by me.

The theme was to create a short Half-life 3 inspired level.

I decided to choose a part from the illusive "borealis" known in half-life's on-going story when making it.

The map is about 15-20 minutes long

There is a lot of bugs and issues (as it was made in such a short time) Maybe I will return one day and make an update, but for now enjoy it as it was released years ago.

It had great atmosphere. Two things to point out: you cannot shoot through force field while it should be possible normally... and holy hell, that helicopter took me like 15 or 20 shots to take down. Still, overall it was fun, short but fun.

really cool map, short, but with fun action, love the atmosphere and the ambience , no puzzles which is fine, enemy placement was good and nice to engage , we all want the HL episode 3 to take place in the Borealis, but we have mods, which is good! Because there's many great modders. So for what it is, cool map.

i give it 6.5

really good but it would be 10x better if you could actually do something with the borealis

You need to throw the bombs it drops after shooting it with rpg, only takes like 3-4 then

If I ever update the map i'll probably just replace with a gunship
