Story
In case of bugs: "Load an autosave" (all areas have autosave spots).
Alyx has lost her multitool and follows the tracking signal to an old police station occupied by the Combine. Without her multitool, she cannot leave the station, but she also wonders why the combine are interested in this old building.

I need your feedback!!

Hello,

I created 17 rooms from the Resident Evil 2 Remake police station (1F).
I added/created over 300 3D models, animations, materials, sounds, music, prefabs, and more.
You can explore and unlock the entire area, fight against creatures and Combine, upgrade your weapon, and solve puzzles.

Unfortunately, I am the only one who has played this map so far. Although I was able to finish the game, I assume that without prior knowledge, players might encounter problems, as I included some experimental gameplay mechanics that might not be understood or work as intended.

"This mod is mod-friendly. (Aside from the new assets, everything else remains Vanilla.)"

I would greatly appreciate your feedback to improve the playability step by step and fix any potential bugs.

To be honest, I am not publishing this mod with confidence and pride, even though I tried to put effort into pushing beyond my own limits. It takes a lot for me to share this mod with the public because it makes me vulnerable, and I fear your judgment.

I hope this project is seen as a contribution to the Alyx community rather than an attack or a competing product. I am a gamer, and this mod is my greeting to everyone who, like me, is passionate about games and beyond.

This is absolutely amazing. The feeling of the Resident Evil games was very much present in the mod while adding new puzzles and ideas throughout, plus it was just fun to play! The last fight is my favorite part :) overall 9/10 experience

@dzoeder Hello, unfortunately I don’t have a backup system for the bolt cutter. You could try loading a save file from shortly before you find the bolt cutter. You might have to replay a small part of the game.

I’m happy to see another comment on the mod especially because I’m currently working on integrating the remaining rooms.
I hope you’re still enjoying my little mod, even though I can only help you in a vague way.

The game is impossible to beat.

So many camera robots are coming at me, I don't have enough ammo, and I keep dying.

It's no longer fun in the long run.

But otherwise, it's very well done.

There are 3 ladders in this mod. The first two ladders are in the main hall. However, the standing ladder is just decoration. The second ladder becomes accessible later in the game and lets you reach the upper floor. The third ladder is in the Operations Room with the map. This ladder only works if you manually grab it and climb it. To do that, you need to enable handclimbing ladders in the menu. Unfortunately, the teleport function does not work with this ladder.

Hello! Usually, you can install the mod by simply clicking the "Subscribe" button on this page. That’s all you need to do. When you then start the main game, you’ll be able to select and play the mod.

I’ve found a video for you that explains in English how to start a mod:

For this specific mod, look for "R.P.D First floor".
