MISSION OBJECTIVE:
ESCAPE INTO THE BALTIC SEA WHILE SURVIVING THE SOVIET ONSLAUGHT.

HISTORY:

The Storozhevoy mutiny inspired the Tom Clancy novel The Hunt for Red October, which was adapted into a 1990 film of the same name.

The mutiny was led by the ship's political commissar, Captain of the Third Rank Valery Sablin, who wished to protest against the rampant corruption of the Leonid Brezhnev era.
Sablin's aim was to protest against the rampant corruption of the Leonid Brezhnev era. His goal was to seize the ship and steer it out of the Bay of Riga, to Leningrad through the Neva River, moor alongside the museum ship Aurora, an old symbol of the Russian revolution, and broadcast a nationwide address to the people from there. Sablin was not successful in his mutiny and got caught.

At his trial in July 1976, Sablin was convicted of high treason and was executed by firing squad on 3 August 1976, while Shein was sentenced to prison and was released after serving eight years. The rest of the mutineers were set free, but dishonorably discharged from the Soviet Navy.

Storozhevoy was officially transferred to the Pacific Fleet on 10 November 1975.

Dude! Paper Skies has become one of my favorites as well. Dude has such a good, Russian sense of humor. His episode on the Tehransky Squadron and the Mirror Flight is another fabulous one.

Check out "Not a Pound for Air to Ground" if you're like me and are DYING for Korea-Era carriers/planes to come to Sea Power. My kingdom for a Banshee equipped Essex! I genuinely want to see what happens when such a ship encounters a Kiev (assuming roughly equivalent missle armaments).

@Supergametv17 Because the SS-N-14A is not a anti-ship missile, it is a anti-sub missile. It carries a torpedo. Same with the torpedoes, they are for submarines not ships

Having watched Stealth17 and learning from his issues, I managed to achieve victory on second attempt. You have to take control of your missile and not rely on weapons tight or weapons free. Some great surprises in this scenario really enjoyed it thank you.

I finished the mission, but no trigger for victory even if I reach the baltic sea.

Soviets had really difficult time with finding the Storozhevoy. And when their bombers found it, they bombed a soviet transport ship. Paper skies on Youtube has a good video about that incident.
