Undertale Dialog Box (Legacy)

Introducing a Undertale Inspired Dialog box (Yes the sounds are included aswell!!!)

This took over 2 days of work to make this, microsoft copilot and chatgpt helped me make this.

it turned out very well, please note that what you see in the screenshots is what i have so far (yes you heard me right, i will add more stuff in the future!)

but so far, asriel, asriel (hyperdeath form), flowey, asgore, undyne, asgore, temmie, (default character sound and 2), alphys, gaster, papyrus, sans, temmie, and toriel are added so far, i will add more soon, if you see any bugs, let me know, and yes, the text and sounds work fine, if there is any bugs, let me know in the comments or suggestions!!!

/udb_color - UDB_ColorMenu (this opens the color menu, this will change the dialog text color)

/udb_font - UDB_FontMenu (this will open the font menu, choose any of the undertale fonts from the drop down menu)

/udb_sound - UDB_SoundMenu (this will open the sound menu, choose any of the undertale sounds from the drop down menu)

UDB_text_shake 1-0 (shakes the text in the dialog box) --convar

UDB_asterisk 1-0 (adds asterisk to the beginning of the dialog box text, just like in undertale) --convar

UDB_enable_pause_text 1-0 (pauses texts, for example, if you add, or . it will pause the text)

UDB_pause_text (set to 0.5 by default, if you want to go slower, type 0.4, etc...)

UDB_enable_flashing_text 1-0 (adds rainbow text to the dialog box)

UDB_enable_box_shake 1-0 (makes the entire dialog box shake)

UDB_character_expressions 1-0 (Adds character expressions system, just like in undertale, but its very buggy, there is only 1 expression, its sans, i will fix it up in the future)


Microsoft Copilot (For coding mostly)

ChatGPT (For coding tweaks)

Me (For making it, doing some edits, etc...)

Chara (For rewritting most of the dialog box logic code to work with his library)

Also, this addon will remain free, i do not accept anything in return, i like making addons for people to use, i dont like taking money from people. i just want my addons to remain free, nothing else, thanks to my best friend chara for helping me make this addon, like seriously, thank you, he simply added his library for easy use, but anywho, take care!, i will try my best to update this addon, i know i may come off as lying, but i will for sure update it, i will try to add the expression system sometime in a few weeks, you got my word.
