But of the 2 preview videos, I really like The Underworld, and would definitely enjoy that in this kind of game. Feels adventurous. While Autumn Leaves seems.. really slow and melancholy? Like dating sim music lol, or music that would play after a significant character in an RPG, just died. If Autumn Leaves were to come up in random DF gameplay a lot as just normal BGM, it'd probably hit weird (for me at least). But maybe melancholy is what future Yamigashima will be going for?
No offense intended btw - I could be alone in my opinion and everyone likes different music and perceives it differently.
I'm curious about the other 17 tracks, and how often Autumn Leaves plays in the current mod? And how much of the other 17 tracks are of similar style to Autumn Leaves? I know, obviously I could just try it. But then I'll be stuck with it for one playthrough, due to the way mods work (and I'm tempted).
I really like the underground theme, it's got a lot of energy and layering to it.
Good luck with the project!
