Less Extravagant Armor+ **Feb 7 Major Update**

This mod aims to make units less visually extravagant and a bit more historical by editing the models to remove or adjust some of the more "extra" aspects

Personally, I always preferred units that were a bit less over-the-top in appearance and many of the heavier armored units have a bit too much going on. A good example is the high prevalence of shoulder armor.

This mod edits the 3d models, not the unit variantmesh which determines which particular armor, weapons, etc. a unit has in-game. That makes this compatible with all reskin mods - unless they have edited the models as well.

~185+ models were edited so I tried to include screenshots that gave a representative idea of the types of changes and the general direction. Most changes are simple, such as removing the shoulder armor or particular aspects of the model that made it less grounded.

*Update 11/4 - Added re-designed Assyrian sickle sword (khopesh) model

The recent update includes an additional ~120 of the vanilla models edited or reworked, new Egyptian shields and new textures for existing shields (this did require some editing of unit variant meshes and will conflict with any mods re-skinning those particular Egyptian units.

Lmk, if there's any visual bugs like clipping that need fixed.

Thanks for the update. They do look good without. Maybe better. Only there's a clipping issue with some skin now showing where the pauldrons used to be.

@Pyrrhos09 Just load up the custom battles, choose Mycenae and pick any higher tier armoured units. You'll see the changes to pauldrons instantly.
