First you're going to pick Yu as your god, after-all through faith Yu can do anything.


Like most people who first see Yu you are probably thinking "Speed capped at 5? That's insanely difficult to play" then you see their other effects and consider it. As you know Yu applying five extra stacks of any buff, and of course you know Yu re-applying your buffs at 10% higher while ALSO getting a buff to armor and thorns damage is pretty nice.

We get a decent buff to our stats and life aswell. All around pretty strong but not enough to help get past the 5 Speed. We'll deal with that later.

Second you're going to pick Secutor.


Every game turn you get a random Martial Effect equal to your highest stat + 5 and then heal yourself for your highest effects stacks. A decent spread of stats here too with another hundred health and a bit of every attribute.

You're probably thinking 'Hey wait a second, free stacks of four buffs and a heal equal to our stacks? That's pretty great' and you would be right.

This isn't the only class that works, notable other examples are Zealot, Summoner, Priest

Third and almost finally were going to pick our race, for my purposes I choose the nigh-immortal Albaz

Some extra healing that will help us get started, and a decent spread of stats. Nothing too wild to say here its just very nice synergy.

Other possibilities for the race include: Naqui, Skeleton, Alhaja, Siku which all benefit from the other two heavily and can become strong in their own ways.

Fourth and the final possible choice that isn't a power: Prestige Class
For my purposes I chose Uspori.


We now have a bodyguard who can protect us and slow down enemies before they reach us, and any time we deal damage to an enemy within two tiles of us with Ice or Poison we manage to convert them to worship Yu and drop to 1 speed.

You are welcome to try and make any prestige you want work with this setup, anything that loves ice would fit well.

Okay here we go, its a standard setup but were going to take some specific powers to maximize the usefulness of our stacks.

First and most importantly we want Crystal Form
You get 5 stacks when you pray that reduce your hit to 1 and double your inflexibility but all of your game turn actions also apply on stand still. Each stack gives you a small amount of healing and applies freeze to all enemies on the map.

Next we grab Master Freeze.
Whenever you stand still you apply freeze to yourself and deal ice damage to all enemies with freeze, considering were going to give everyone on the map freeze that's pretty nice. The damage is your stacks of freeze on yourself multiplied by the stacks of freeze on the enemy so the more stacks we have the more damage enemies take. It also gives us armor per stack of freeze on us and makes freeze not hurt us.

Third we grab Cryomancy, our beloved skill that will soon make it impossible for anyone to approach us because when you pray or stand still you apply 5 freeze to two enemies within a 3 tile range of you. It also multiplies ice and physical damage oncemore - this time by the freeze on the target and our skill level.

Our final core skill is Cryokinesis, It gives us on hit freeze which is okay but the great part is that any time we apply freeze from any of the above skills we also proc a hit of 35 ice damage multiplied by the skill level and our Cryomancy multiplier. We basically now have an aura of paralysis that makes anyone within 3 tiles of us drop to 1 speed.

For my chosen Prestige class I also grabbed Poison Skin which applies sickness whenever we get attacked and heals us whenever we deal Poison damage, aswell as Toxokinesis so that we deal poison damage to anyone who hits us and any 3 adjacent enemies and proc the aforementioned heal.

Yu will allow You to grab anything you want for your last 1-3 slots though as we have what we need.
