The Mach Loop (Desert Version) #MAPMAKERS2024

The Mach Loop is a series of valleys located in Wales, United Kingdom, used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) and NATO for low-flying military training exercises. These narrow, twisting paths cut through the rugged terrain of the Snowdonia and Cambrian mountain ranges, creating an ideal setting for pilots to practice high-speed, low-altitude maneuvers. The Mach Loop is renowned among aviation enthusiasts and photographers who gather at designated vantage points to witness jets performing impressive close-range aerial maneuvers. Its dramatic landscapes and challenging flight paths make it an iconic training ground for combat pilots.

The airfield featured is a fictional airfield placed around the Machynlleth town, right next to the mach loop. The road that loops all around the map is the exact path of the loop and that you can follow to enjoy the scenic valleys and mountains.

this map is more focused on the airfield, anything outside has mostly been low effort since i cant easily decorate a extremely large 15km x 15km map in a decent amount of time and without losing my sanity.

If your up for a challenge, a mod has been imbedded into the map that includes a special challenge for you to complete while flying around (a plane will be provided to you if you dont have on)
