I built this mod to be able fit more blocks in the limited toolbar slots and have the block groups make more sense. There are three basic changes:

  • 'moved' - blocks are consolidated into another group that the group makes sense, often deleting an unnecessary group in the process, such as Cameras put in to the Remote group.

  • 'duplicated' - blocks are also located in another group for ease of access, while remaining in their original home group, such as Bookshelf remains part of Weapons Rack group, but also in the Kitchen (decorative block) group.

  • 'reordered' - blocks remaining in original group, but reordered into a more intuitive order such as Armor Corner pieces.

I've set this up how I think I want it, but happy to take feedback and suggestions. Below is a full list of changes, they are also explained in the 12min video linked above. If you want to edit your own version, I have a 'how to' video also linked above.

Despite my best efforts (I spent literal hours trying), I was not able to rationalise voxel hands, hand tools, weapons. These are all in the game engine as 'physical items' and this mod only changes 'blocks'.

I've never used that mod, is it possible the mod predates the vanilla inset light, and probably has an custom inset light of its own, which might be causing the conflict? Sometimes there are little bugs that cuase these new groups not to work, like the 1x1 conveyor group, I can put the 1x1 connector in there, but not the new 1x1 inset connector, cause the grup to disappear, no real rhyme or reason. I did do that second video of how to customise it yourself, you might be able to do a fix that suits you. Sorry I can't be more help then that.

Regarding my lights question further down, it seems to be a issue with Rebels Lights. So I guess my option is to either remove Rebel Lights, or fix the groups myself.

Hi Jocker. I made a video on how to edit the groups yourself, it's the second video linked above. That should give you the knowledge you need. You'll just need to find the mod data files with the blocks you want to add, they'll be in the steam downloaded content folder, the folder name will be the steam number from the workshop web address (ie this mod is 3354754263)

Idealy using ModAdjuster, so we can upload it and use on own server.

Hi Waipa. It used to be, but it doesn't work, because neither exists in each others grid size, which is a requirement.

This has quickly become one of my favorite and most necessary QOL mods.

Any thoughts about adding the jump drive to the gravity gen group? Seems like it might thematically fit and usage is about the same(ish).

Also, any consideration to combining numbers and symbols?
