A Quarantine zone built by the Amaretto Organization and military to protect what remains of the uninfected population. It is the most well-known operational quarantine zone. It is still heavily guarded by a sizable military force years after the outbreak.

The military has increased security in to prevent the undead and the bandits alike from gaining a foothold in the quarantine zone. There are still cases of infection that occur in the QZ, but the authorities often cover them up and downplay the actual amount. In the city, there are also attacks committed by several groups. Amaretto can be considered a safe place in comparison to other QZs, since it wasn't a total war zone most of the time.

Located just north of Muldraugh on main highway to Westpoint.

This map is almost complete but remains in development. A few minor glitches are still present, and updates in the next 2-3 months will focus solely on miscellaneous items rather than the map itself. Please report any glitches in the forum or comments, and they will be addressed in future updates.
