Thrumbo Maid [1.5]

This mini-mod adds a thrumbo maid frill that can be crafted at a tailoring bench using 60 cloth with a minimum Crafting skill of 3.

An animal handler with sufficient Animals skill to tame and train a thrumbo (normally 10) can put the frill on a thrumbo that is tamed and fully trained to Haul (7/7). Any handler that meets the requirements can also remove a worn frill.

An equipped maid frill reduces the FilthRate of a thrumbo to 0 and causes them to attempt to passively remove 1 stack of filth from underneath them every second with a 2 second cooldown. This does not allow thrumbos to perform Cleaning work in general.


Thrumbo Maid adds one ThingDef, one HediffDef, and two JobDefs. Thrumbo Maid uses the vanilla render node system to render worn frills and a HediffComp to enable autocleaning.


If Angel Apparel is installed, then an additional Nanoweave Thrumbo Halo can be crafted at the Nanoassembler after Smart Apparel is researched. This functions identically to the conventional maid frill, but requires nanoweave and plasteel to construct.


Thrumbo Maid has no external dependencies and should be safe to to an existing save other than potential short hash collisions.

Thrumbo Maid should be safe to remove so long as no maid frills are spawned, stored, or worn.

Thrumbo maid frills are only configured for vanilla thrumbos by default; compatibility for modded thrumbo variants can be added via XML patching, though thrumbo variants with vastly different silhouettes may require additional textures.
