ランサーエボリューションPHEV(LANCER EVOLUTION PHEV)は三菱自動車工業(以降、MMC)の架空のスポーツモデルである。

ライバルであるスバルには「WRX S4」というスポーツモデルが存在するが、MMCには現在そういったモデルが存在しない現状である。
そこで作者は三菱の最新ラインアップの着目した。

最近、MMCに限らずどこのメーカーもSUVのラインナップが多数を占める。
SUVとセダン、スポーツカーとMMCの最新電動化技術を組み合わせたモデルが何かないのかと考えたのがこのランサーエボリューションPHEVである。

かつてのセダンのスタイリングを踏襲しつつも、最近のSUVのスタイリング、三菱のデザイン言語を組み合わせた。
デザイン思想としてはどちらかというと「野性」に近く、未来的な形状よりも「過激さ」を重視した。

エンジンの設定は直列5気筒ターボチャージャー+PHEVと4気筒クリーンディーゼルターボエンジン+PHEVが選べ、前者はシステムの最高出力は510馬力を発揮するといった設定である。
