Chigusa Nagayo

Chigusa Nagayo is a legendary Japanese pro wrestler and one of the most influential figures in women's wrestling. She gained fame in the 1980s as one half of the iconic tag team The Crush Gals alongside Lioness Asuka, becoming a cultural phenomenon in Japan through her work in AJW. Nagayo helped popularize women’s wrestling during a golden era for the sport.

After her in-ring career, she founded the promotion GAEA Japan in 1995.
