Andrade

The former La Sombra, Andrade Almas was a celebrated wrestler in Mexico before signing with WWE in 2015. Under the La Sombra name (and mask), Almas won multiple titles in CMLL and NWA in addition to winning the IWGP Intercontinental Championship in NJPW.

After signing with WWE, Almas was assigned to NXT, where he initially debuted as a face. A heel turn almost a year later seemed to breath new life into Almas, and he turned his attention towards winning the NXT Championship. Almas won the title at NXT TakeOver: WarGames in November 2017.

He joined the main roster in 2018 and held the United States Championship on one occasion before leaving the company in 2021.

Andrade made his AEW debut in 2021 shortly after being released from his WWE contract. He quickly set his sights on AEW and AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega, and won his debut match for AEW in July.

At the 2024 Royal Rumble, Andrade returned to the WWE. He became the WWE Speed champion several months later.
