The used bosses of Team Fortress 2's also unused gamemode Raid which would have been a lot more like Left 4 Dead
Both the Boss Bot and Turret Guns have bones while the rest sadly don't

(also thanks Teajai for telling me about Raid genuinely had no idea about that lols)

The Boss Bot reminds me of Donvius's mech models that appeared in his "Wrench in the Gears" SFM animation.

Very interesting that models like these are unused but left in the game.

These aren't exactly for MvM. They're for its direct predecessor, the "Raid" gamemode, which functioned more like Left 4 Dead. And the turret gun was probably intended to just be placed in spawn rooms on regular maps, rather than solely being used for Raid.

@Phobias The teleporter is probably meant to bring in more robots, since falling over isn't a problem due to not being a game mechanic. You don't fall over when on top of the tank or cart, so the same applies here.
