Unlocked Options

UNLOCKED OPTIONS
This mod unlocks the special options and races you normally earn by beating the game, including the ability to scale the amount of XP earned by your crew.

For this mod to take effect:

1. Subscribe to this mod
   
2. Allow Steam to download it
   
3. Launch Horizon’s Gate
   
4. Load an existing save
   
5. Check the options in the menu.

You can use this mod to change the XP multiplier right out of the gate, allowing you to reduce (or increase) the amount of XP gained by your crew. When subscribing to many mods, this allows you to make sure your party doesn’t get too wildly overpowered before the normal ending of the game. This mod works with existing saves and new games alike, but it will only take effect once you load a save.

Be warned! This mod will likely also unlock the Steam achievement you earn for beating the game the first time.

If you want the effects of this mod without actually downloading the mod, there’s a way to force the game to think you’ve beaten it just by editing a text file. Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to (profile)/AppData/Roaming/BoatTactics
   
2. Open config.ini with a text editor
   
3. Copy the text below and paste it into config.ini beneath dialogSpeedMult.
