It's approximately 6 hours after Gordon Freeman attacked Nova Prospekt and warped out. The rebellion, taking this as a signal to start the uprising, begins fighting their way into City 17. You are Julian Cessna, a former police officer before the 7 hour war and combine takeover. You joined the 7th chapter of the rebellion in the northern outskirts of the city. The 7th is pushing south into the center of C17, but progress is slow due to combine fences and heavy combine presence. Due to your training before the war as a police officer, you are selected for a covert mission deeper into C17. Your goal is to navigate the sewers, get into the town, locate the combine generator and disable it, throwing the northern sector of C17 into turmoil and making navigation for the 7th chapter easier.
