描述
This mod is for B41

I will work for B42 AFTER Brita weapons mod updates for B42

Replace gun sound for Vanilla, Brita weapons, VFE(Vinalla Firearms Expansion) mod, Firearms B41 and other mods.

Sound source from 80 different games. You can Check out Sound Source on Discussion page.
Gun sound recorded from in-game or youtube.

I try to match same gun model sound from other FPS game.
ex) AKM sound (Brita weapon mod) is from AKM of Escape from Tarkov game.
ex2) AK5c sound (Brita weapon mod) is from AK5c of Medal of Honor warfighter. Suppressed sound is from AK5c of Battlefield 4
ex3) Even similar model will ALMOST have unique sound (in Brita weapon mod)
like m16, m16a1,m16a2,m16a3. G36,G36C,G36KV. M249E2 M249E3 all different sound. (in Brita weapon mod)


This mod is highly inspired by Weapon Sound Expansion mod.

*IMPORTANT"
About Sound Volume
I tested sound with my headphone. I can't expect how loud would be.
If it's too loud, use option and adjust volume instead. Sorry guys.
There are almost 800 sound files, I can't balance with them all for now.

Q. How to change sound file?
A. Go to stem-stemapps-workshop-content-108600-3339143387-Gun Sound Overhaul-media-lua-client- find GunSoundList.lua. open it, find what you want to change.
then, go to media-sound folder, change the sound.

Q. Save Compatible?
A. Single Player yes. you can install or remove at mid game whenever. Multiplay also works fine

I'm not professional sound maker, but I try to do my best past 3month to make this.

with this mod can we hear the gun shots far away like the vanilla sounds of the weapons ? in pvp is good so you can hear who is shooting you, the normal sounds from britas you cant hear until the person is literally by your side xD Thank You !

It's taking Brita a while to update their mods for B42. Is there a particular reason why you're waiting for them to update their mods? Just asking cuz in B42, the default gun sounds are boring. No rush or pressure, and sorry if this question has been asked already.

wonderful mod, this version is better than the other mod called weapon sound overhaul or something like that, u did a great job but i cannot recommend this mod in MP because of the sound bug, do you know why it works like that? or someone reading this know why the sounds are muted after 15 tiles? thanks

Love the sounds, but it doesn't work after 16 tiles away, completely muted sounds. Needs attention if you have a pvp focused server.

When you apply this mod in MP, you won't hear gunshots if you're about 15 tiles away from the gunshot source. Does this apply to zombies as well? Even if you use a gun, zombies around you won't react if you get too far away. Is there a way to fix this?
