描述
No Mods/No Subgrids but DLC is used

Description
The Stratus is a small grid atmospheric only utility ship. This ship was designed to be a low cost, easy to print, and convenient solution for working on ships or bases. It can be especially useful when playing with jet packs turned off. In an effort to keep the Stratus as light as possible it has limited cargo space. Since I do the bulk of the welding with welding ships it wasn't a priority. There are, however, two cargo barrels mounted to the side of the ship that can be accessed from the work platform for a little bit of storage. The Stratus has four passenger benches so intentionally crashing to mess with friends can be four times more fun. (It's a cheap ship, live a little). This ship is also set up with PAM because I'm a huge fan of automated docking, I've also placed a good number of lights on the Stratus for flying around basses at night since that kind of crashing is a lot less fun.

Notes
Since most of my friends like to play SE without jet packs and many other hard mode-ish restrictions most of them have some form of ship like this. The Stratus is my take on that style of ship but was mostly inspired by the Maus Mk I created by my buddy XXShadowXXFalcon.

Would you look at that, you even published it on my birthday. Thanks lol!

As a fellow no-jetpack enjoyer, this is by far the best rendition of a "small grid jetpack ship" I've ever seen. So much better than any I've built myself. This is a work of art, and about to become an absolute staple in my survival games.

Absolutely gorgeous work :)

Love to see something so lovingly made to do a specific job and do it so well. Best ship I've downloaded in ages.

@Orselias I wasn't even having a bad day but your comment made it better, ty.

I like trying to play with 1x settings for everything so even your suit is very limited and am always thinking of ways to let my ships run longer while making fewer trips. The external battery idea came about as a result so I can have 1 large battery in the ship and a "battery pack" that can connect using a merge block to either the bottom or rear of my ship. This lets the battery pack recharge at the base (or just a power depot) while i use another pack. The on-board battery lets the ship fly long enough to swap packs and act as a backup. (1 small reactor added later in game for emergencies.) In the case of this ship I would swap the forward battery for an o2 tank, move rear thrusters to sides (4 instead of 3), add 1 merg block to rear, (drone can dock to bottom connector)

drone design in similar style to this ship
2-3 medium cargo (each has 3 large ports in "T" formation)
1 battery on-board (use same pack system)

@KahvozeinsFang, You make an excellent point if the only purpose of this ship was for placing blocks and you always play solo. That was a good question, thank you

@jarhead, I like that, it does have an extra vent. I wasn't thinking far enough outside the box.
