Varied Population

描述
Expands certain factions lacking in variety or content with new creatures, adding them to areas that are neglected or unvaried, such as mountains with cannibals, and salt dunes with the Issachari tribe.

Various zone populations have also been modified to be more enjoyable to explore - tweaking spawn rates, amounts and creatures within, including the sky (yes, you reach the sky) and the deepest, darkest parts of the underground.

LEGENDARY TROLLS

Remnants of old Qud brought back to life, the trolls are no longer unique to Bethesda Susa...

You may encounter legendary trolls in the deeper parts of the underground, or within lairs up in the mountains, each with their own unique title and correlated capabilities; wielding the power of lightning, to quake the earth, to summon blazing heat, and more... Do not approach unprepared.

NEW CREATURES

There are currently 17 unique creatures added to various places around Qud, with over 40+ planned creatures overall, each with visuals fitting the style and theme of Caves of Qud. Some creatures include:
  • Asphalt oozes
  • Walking fungi
  • Dormant dune robots
  • Missile-launching metal birds
  • Astral frogs with phasing tongues
  • Flying pigs
  • Extra-dimensional threats

TWEAKED AREAS

Barren and overly chaotic areas have received tweaks to their population. Some areas include:
  • Mountains
  • Jungles
  • Rainbow Wood
  • Asphalt Mines
  • The sky
  • Far below the earth...

If you add this to an ongoing save, will you start seeing legendary trolls around? Also, is it safe to add to an ongoing save?

Prime Shapes alone make this mod too much of a pain in the ass to want to play with, even though I respect how cool the enemies are.

Just had a Prime Shape warden of the starting village try (and succeed) to give me the heavies. They were hostile to me despite being "docile".

I have also encountered the troll hero bug, exactly the same errors. Playing heavily modded.

Hi, fantastic mod! when do you think the new issachari tribe members will be implemented in the mod ? i scoured the desert for a full hour and they don't seem to appear at all

Found a none-crash causing bug when trying to spawn a Troll Hero, it says :
invalid blueprint: Aleksh_TrollHero
Systems.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key 'HearthpyreSchematicChip' was not present in dictionary

Is this caused by me not using Hearthpyre for this run? If not and you want me to send you a screen shot, you can message me in the CoQ discord server, my name is the same as as my steam name

Is there something that can be done to stop Dune Wraiths from spawning INSIDE desert villages? I usually take desert village start and it's a massive pain when I'm just trying to get started and (relatively) high level robots spawn en masse in otherwise peaceful zones, and the villagers don't care at all.
