Back in the days (the 6th edition), a lot of the bone giants representation were actually showing them as you guessed it... made of bone. CA gave them a visual representation closer to the ushabti or the warsphinx, being made of black obsidian stone.

This mod simply aims to bring back this old look while keeping the old one, so now rather than one variant made of obsidian, you'll have two variants, one made of stone and the other made of bone.

Also, in the lore it's clearly stated that the constructs can be made of bronze, leather and bone of desert creatures

Never said it was wrong, the point is just to represent them in an other way, a way that was also shown back in the days. But indeed, some of them being made of stone isn't wrong, again, that's why I kept the basic variant and just added an other one.

CA depicted them as statues because that's what they are, as stated in the army book. I mean the clue's in the name - Necro (dead) Lith (stone).
