Yes, it is compatible with the adventure mode update. Just tested it with a fresh install to confirm and had no issues downloading the mod, adding it to the world's mod list, and loading into it in adventure mode and accessing the clothing items as a dwarf in a dwarven civ. Not sure what would be preventing you from installing it.
This mod does not touch any of the sprites or graphics, nor does it change how the game handles sprites or graphics. The only thing it changes is the dwarven civ entity files and some of the code tags associated with various clothing items. Try loading your CGE Redux mod without this mod and see if the issue persists.
I downloaded the Forthammer mod pack and took a look at its defines. It doesn't look like there should be any conflicts between the two since Forthammer does not appear to change any of the clothing items, nor does it change their availability for dwarven civs. If you encounter any issues with it, feel free to let me know.
You're correct, I did not notice that. However, what's odd is that they *should* be available, but for some reason are not. I just created a fort and looked at the military uniform screen and noticed that ONLY braies are marked as foreign. I double-checked everything to make sure I didn't misspell something or miss a tag, but everything looks correct. At the moment, I'm left scratching my head as to why this is occurring, but I'll think on it.
