Manticore Fighter Bomber

"Serving as a cheap, lightweight, and compact strike unit the Manticore Fighter Bomber was the primary fighter for most RBN fleets. Being very compact it could easily be carried by even corvette sized vessels unlike its larger brethren which needed large hangar decks to accommodate them. While not particularly impressive compared to such legendary fighters as the SDF F-6 Sturgeon the Manticore still performed well, its small size and large thrusters made it rather agile boosting its combat capability. The fighter bombers primary weapon was its 6 built in rocket pods which despite their short range could deal a devastating blow to enemy warships if they made contact."
